Auditing
is neither easy nor glamorous. It's a detailed, laborious activity that
requires deep expertise with vendor billing, comprehension of network
design, insight into current technologies, and more. TelAssess prides
itself on the diverse backgrounds our team brings, and on the tools and
processes we deploy in support of lowering our client's telecom costs.

Client
Source Material Assembly
Using the TelAssess-provided Audit Launch Packet, the client generates
information on locations, vendors, accounts, invoices and contracts
and delivers it to TelAssess.

Vendor
Account Summary
Using materials collected from the client, TelAssess develops a profile
of the Client's vendors and accounts, which is reviewed with the client
to insure completeness of the audit scope.

Vendor
Source Material Assembly
Using the Vendor Account Summary and the client supplied Letter of Agency,
TelAssess acquires detailed Customer Service Records (CSRs) and other
documents from vendors for each account.
Data
Compilation
TelAssess
transfers data from the wide-ranging source documents into its proprietary
audit management system to create the Master Audit File which details
all of the circuits, services, rates, contractual terms and other information
required to perform an audit.

Research
and Analysis
TelAssess performs a thorough audit of client's telecom services to
identify the validity of current pricing, the existing services and
other factors that would affect the amount due by client to its vendor(s).

Client
Validation
TelAssess provides client with a working list of findings which are
carefully reviewed with TelAssess to determine if they are valid issues
which require correction.
Credits
and Corrections
TelAssess works with vendors to resolve any overpayments, and credits/refunds
are issued directly to client. Where a finding involves modification
of services, TelAssess provides client with information and support
to successfully perform changes.

Audit
Reporting
TelAssess provides Client with a full accounting of the audit including
the Service Inventory Report (in both printed and electronic form) which
documents all of the client's circuits and services, and the Telecom
Savings Report which details the individual audit findings.
